What would Henbogle be without hens?

They do a great job of weed control, but these are young hens (teenagers, really) and the weeds are big and tough, so we mowed ourselves. We’ll replant pasture mix in the spring.

Now I’ve never had chickens, but wouldn’t they take care of the weeds? I keep hearing stories on how they can mow anything down.
